Im Jahr 2018 startete Clearpath Coffee das Projekt El Puente und errichtete eine Aufbereitungsstation in Palestina, Huila. Ziel ist es, lokale Kleinbauern mit dem globalen Spezialitätenkaffeemarkt zu verbinden.
Die strategisch günstige Lage inmitten zahlreicher Kaffeefarmen vereinfacht den Transport der Kaffeekirschen. Die Initiative unterstützt 214 Kleinbauern, indem sie frisch geerntete Kirschen kauft, Trocknungs- und Lagerinfrastruktur bereitstellt, Preise zahlt, die denen von getrocknetem Kaffee entsprechen, den Kaffee verarbeitet und die Bauern mit Abnehmern weltweit vernetzt.
Clearpath legt Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit und bevorzugt natürliche und Honey-Aufbereitungsmethoden, die 80 % weniger Wasser verbrauchen als gewaschene Kaffees.
